Journal History: The Asian Journal of Managerial Science (AJMS) was established in 2012 and was published by The Research Publication until 2023. Since 2024, the journal has been published by the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI), The Bharath Social and Research Foundation, Coimbatore, India.

 

The Asian Review of Social Sciences (ARSS) aims to advance research and scholarly communication across the major disciplines of the social sciences by publishing rigorous theoretical, empirical, methodological, and practice-oriented studies. The journal provides an international forum for research on individuals, communities, institutions, cultures, communication, information environments, public policy, and societal transformation.

ARSS welcomes research addressing contemporary social, cultural, economic, political, educational, informational, and technological challenges, including social change, development, inequality, governance, education, sustainability, migration, digital society, media transformation, and public participation.

 

Peer Review
All manuscripts submitted to AJMS undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation are reviewed under a double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Special issues, invited papers, and supplementary content are subject to the same editorial oversight, peer-review standards, and publication-ethics requirements as regular submissions.

Abstracting, Indexing and Discovery
AJMS reports coverage or discoverability through J-Gate, Google Scholar, EBSCO Information Services, Engineering Source, Library and Information Science Source, One Belt One Road Reference Source, Scilit, Crossref, Library of Congress, WorldCat, and Scite. 

Publication Ethics
AJMS is committed to publication ethics and malpractice prevention in line with COPE-aligned editorial practice. Its ethics framework addresses authorship and contributorship, conflicts of interest, complaints and appeals, data sharing and reproducibility, ethical oversight, intellectual property, research misconduct, and post-publication corrections and retractions.

Open Access, Licensing and Repository Rights
AJMS follows a Gold Open Access publishing model. Published articles are made immediately and permanently available on the journal website without subscription, registration, or pay-per-view barriers.

Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). The licence permits copying and redistribution of the unchanged article for non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution. Commercial use and distribution of modified, adapted, translated, or derivative versions require additional permission.

Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and published Version of Record in institutional, subject, or other appropriate scholarly repositories in accordance with the journal's Repository Policy. The Version of Record must remain unmodified and retain the original citation, DOI, copyright notice, licence information, and acknowledgement of AJMS as the original publication.

Copyright and Digital Preservation
Upon acceptance and publication, the author(s) or other lawful copyright holder assign copyright in the published work to the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI) in accordance with the journal's Copyright Transfer Agreement. Following copyright transfer, CRI holds the copyright in the published Version of Record.

AJMS content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network to support long-term digital preservation and continued access.

Ownership, Management and Editorial Independence
AJMS is published by the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. CRI is a scholarly publishing unit of The Bharath Social and Research Foundation, a non-profit organisation. CRI provides editorial administration, production, hosting, archiving, preservation, and dissemination support.

Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and appointed editors on the basis of scholarly merit, relevance to the journal's scope, originality, quality, and compliance with the journal's editorial and ethical policies.

Publication Schedule
AJMS publishes two regular issues each year. Special issues or supplementary issues may be published in addition to the regular schedule when approved through the journal's editorial procedures; such content is subject to the same peer-review, ethics, and editorial standards as regular submissions.

AJMS publishes separate Revenue Sources, Advertising, and Direct Marketing policies. Revenue and promotional activities are kept independent of editorial decision-making.
